Cheap Custom Lanyards

Cheap Custom Lanyards ImageIf you are considering ordering some cheap custom lanyards for a promotion, you may find there are more opportunities available to you than first you imagined. Of course, the first thing to consider is to phone up your usual lanyard supplier and tell them you’re on a reduced budget for your next order and would greatly appreciate a discount on your usual personalized lanyards price. If you are a regular customer, this reduction may well be offset against future orders, or else, your supplier might just see it as a way of offering you an incentive to continue ordering from them.

But there may be other, further ways, to get a cheap price on your custom lanyard order. For example, if you usually order 20mm or 15mm wide lanyards, check out the price for 10mm, 12mm and 15mm wide lanyards. If your order is relatively large then this could add up to quite a saving.

How To Order Custom Lanyards Cheap!

If you usually order woven lanyards, see what the price is for nylon or polyester. And if you already use nylon or polyester as your main material, try ribbon lanyards instead of tubular or bootlace lanyards.

Think about colors: how many colors do you usually print on your lanyards? Most logos have different color options for different uses. Very often, there will be a full colour version of your logo for color advertisements and stationery, but also a black and white version for appearing in local newspapers and other black and white printing. But very often there will also be a two or one color version too. Instead of using the full color version you could use the one or two color version of your logo for your custom lanyard and save yourself money by using less dye or ink.

Another consideration is the attachments and accessories. Most clips, swivels, hooks and carabiners come in metal and plastics. Consider ordering the cheaper material in every case and you will end up with a far lower price per item than you started out with.

Consider quantity. If you are shopping around for a specific quantity of lanyards with a small budget, take a moment to consider if it’s possible you might need further lanyards any time in the near future. It’s always a false economy to shop around based on a supplier’s minimum order requirement. If it’s atall possible that you will, then you might consider splitting the budget between the two requirements and ordering a larger batch. The more you order, the less you pay per item, so it makes sense to order larger numbers, despite the fact that you are trying to keep the cost down.

Finally, shop around! The custom lanyard market is highly competitive. Get a range of prices from different suppliers to get an idea of what the market price is for your order, then take the lowest estimate and try phoning some suppliers and asking if they can beat that price on your personalized lanyard order. Many suppliers will compete as a loss leader, simply to gain a new customer.
